Technical Sales Consultant (m/f)

Joining the Continental Pneus (Portugal) Sales Department, this professional will be responsible for ensuring the technical and commercial support of customers across multiple segments, guaranteeing the correct application of products, the monitoring of their performance, and the sustainable development of the business within the assigned territory.

• Perform regular technical and commercial visits to key customers (e.g., mines, quarries, industrial operations, etc) and strategic customers across all product segments.
• Carry out technical inspections (e.g., wear measurement, failure analysis, pressures, etc).
• Monitor the tire life cycle at customer sites, identifying opportunities for performance and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare performance reports and feed dashboards and data originating from various operations.
• Manage the technical and commercial relationship with end users in the Earthmoving area, partners, distributors, and OEMs.
• Identify customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Develop business opportunities, including replacements, fleet expansion, new projects, and solution upgrades.
• Prepare technical-commercial proposals aligned with the operations and objectives of the customers.

• Higher education in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or similar (preferred).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Good product knowledge.
• Strong consultative orientation and customer focus.
• Excellent communication skills and technical influence.
• Proficiency in digital tools (Microsoft 365, CRM, Power BI).
• Availability for frequent travel at a national level.
