Cook (M/F/D) - The Vintage House Hotel

The Vintage House Hotel is located in the heart of the Douro Region, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site and the oldest demarcated wine region in the world. This magnificent hotel, which used to house an old 19th-century wine cellar, is set in an idyllic and tranquil riverside setting, surrounded by hills and mountains covered in vineyards.

We are looking for a Cook (M/F/D) to join our team.

• Main responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to defined standards;
  • Ensure the quality, presentation, and preservation of the products used;
  • Ensure strict compliance with Food Hygiene and Safety standards (HACCP);
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of organization and cleanliness.
  
  

  Requirements

  • Training and/or professional experience in the area of Cooking and Pastry;
  • A liking for teamwork and a collaborative spirit;
  • Dynamism, proactivity, and a sense of responsibility;
  • Availability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
