We are looking for a Quality Control Technician for our SOHI team in Santarém and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!

• Ensure the daily organization and operation of the laboratory, guaranteeing the reliability of results;

• Perform and monitor microbiological analyses according to defined internal procedures;

• Carry out the processing and analysis of microbiological results;

• Proceed with the registration, updating, and monitoring of results in the system;

• Ensure the sending of results and the monitoring of supplier KPIs;

• Guarantee compliance with internal procedures, quality requirements, and food safety;

• Collaborate in monitoring the design and development of new products;

• Ensure the updating of documentation associated with laboratory activities, in accordance with current legislation;

• Collaborate with the other areas of the company, contributing to the proper functioning and organization of the laboratory.

This opportunity arises in the context of a temporary maternity leave replacement, with a maximum expected duration of 1 year. It also includes an initial period of training and support, ensuring a structured integration into the role and the continuity of laboratory activities.

What we have for you...

• Higher academic education in the Food area, Microbiology, or equivalent areas; HACCP knowledge (mandatory);

• Knowledge of the FSSC 22000 standard (preferred);

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;

• Knowledge of the English language (preferred);

• Ability for organization, planning, and priority management;

• High sense of responsibility, rigor, and attention to detail;

• Ability to work in a team and good interpersonal communication;

• Orientation towards objectives and meeting deadlines;
