Product Development Specialist

• Higher Education Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar areas;
• Professional experience in product compliance, certification, quality, or conformity assessment, preferably in consumer products (Hard and Soft Goods);
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the product, certification processes, and quality management systems;
• Experience in the analysis and validation of technical documentation, test reports, declarations of conformity, and normative requirements;
• Knowledge of import processes, customs requirements, and associated document management will be valued;
• Experience in certification bodies, testing laboratories, or companies specialized in conformity assessment (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, TÜV, or similar) will be considered an asset;

• Good knowledge of English;
• Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with different national and international interlocutors;
• High sense of organization, autonomy, proactivity, and analytical capacity.

• Prepare product engineering technical dossiers, including formulation specifications, ensuring compliance with defined requirements;
• Develop, test, and validate new formulations, ensuring that final products meet performance, safety, and regulatory criteria;
• Request and validate necessary tests, samples, and technical documentation, ensuring that results support development and production decisions;
• Participate in defining the information to be made available to the customer, translating technical requirements into clear and applicable data;
• Collaborate in the classification of occurrences detected by Quality Control and in the definition of corrective actions or formulation adjustments;
• Interact with the different stakeholders in the processes (suppliers, sales, office in China, design, quality, logistics, and laboratories) to ensure consistency between formulation, production, and customer expectations;
• Ensure compliance with the processes defined in the Quality Management System, applying good practices in product development and industrial formulation.
