What we're looking for

Academic Qualifications: Master's degree in Management, Economics, or Industrial Engineering and Management;
Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in business analytical roles (Business Intelligence, Consulting, Strategic Planning, or Business Analysis), preferably in the Media, Retail, E-Commerce, or FMCG sectors;
Analytical Rigor and Critical Thinking: High attention to detail and an obsession with data rigor, ensuring that all analyses are based on solid methodologies validated through the cross-referencing of different perspectives;
Proactivity and Impact Orientation: Spirit of initiative to detect asymmetries or new avenues of value in the business without the need for constant guidance, proposing pragmatic solutions;
Storytelling and Communication: Exceptional ability to convert complex data into structured, simple, and appealing presentations, communicating with ease and assertiveness with both technical teams and senior stakeholders;
Technical Mastery: Advanced practical experience in building dashboards in visualization tools (preferably Power BI), advanced analytical proficiency in Excel, and database manipulation or SQL. Knowledge and experience in using AI tools will be considered an asset;
Availability to travel between the Porto and Lisbon offices, for meetings with the Team and with Clients.

What you'll do

We are counting on you to...

Cross-functional Performance Monitoring: evaluate the global business performance (including sales, pricing, and measurement), as well as perform complementary analyses for specific business verticals such as Customers, Products, or Business Reviews;
Dashboard Development and Evolution: Develop, implement, maintain, and iterate the analytical dashboards and performance reports that support the daily decisions of the operational, commercial, and leadership teams;
Continuous Business Analysis: collaborate continuously with the Sales and Operations teams in the development of forecasts and specific analyses by transforming available data and business metrics into actionable and value-added insights for decision-making;
Insight Generation: proactively develop and propose studies, trend analyses, and commercial and pricing strategies that add value, anticipate needs, or reduce gaps, with a view to achieving business objectives;
Networking and Multidisciplinary Synergies: actively create and foster an internal and external sharing network, collaborating directly with MC's analytical areas and external industry professionals, with the aim of incorporating and enriching their analyses and insights.
