We are looking for an AI Engineer to join the Labs & AI Transformation team at MC Digital and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!

We are counting on you to...

• Explore and develop innovative Artificial Intelligence concepts, with a special focus on Generative AI (GenAI);
• Investigate emerging technologies, analyzing technical documentation, literature, and trends to identify relevant solutions;
• Contribute to the ideation, design, and validation of functional prototypes for AI-based solutions;
• Apply AI to the development process itself, exploring new approaches and tools;
• Collaborate on the definition of best practices, technical standards, and the production of structured documentation;
• Work in close collaboration with software engineering and development profiles;
• Support innovation initiatives from the conceptual phase to proofs of value;
• Keep yourself updated on the most innovative trends in AI and associated technologies;
• Ability to suggest and make decisions regarding the technical approach and architecture of the systems to be developed;
• Act as a mentor to other team members;
• Ability to influence the team roadmap with innovative concepts that are relevant to the organization.

Therefore, bring with you...

• Academic background in Computer Engineering, Data Science, AI Systems Engineering, or similar areas;
• Minimum experience in a corporate environment of 3-5 years (preferred);
• Experience or strong interest in Generative AI (GenAI);
• Technological background, preferably in Data Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Systems Engineering, or Fullstack Development with an interest in AI;
• Familiarity with the Data/AI tech stack, namely Machine Learning libraries, Python, and backend frameworks;
• Solid interest in Artificial Intelligence applied to innovation and solution development;
• Research capability, critical thinking, and structuring of ideas;
• Attention to quality, documentation, and best practices;
• Good knowledge of English.
