A Somafel is a company of the Teixeira Duarte Group, specialising in the construction of conventional railways and catenary systems, and in the maintenance and renewal of existing lines and their electrification. It is also strongly active in special engineering projects, namely crane runways and concrete-paved track. We are looking for a Senior Safety Technician (m/f).

• Monitor safety conditions during the execution of works;
• Identify, assess, and prevent occupational risks;
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures applicable to the railway sector;
• Conduct training and information actions with the work teams;
• Prepare safety records, reports, and documentation;
• Coordinate with site managers, operational teams, and other involved entities on all matters regarding occupational health and safety.

• Availability to work night shifts and on weekends;

• Ease of relationship and team spirit;
• Good leadership capacity for multiple teams;
• Ease of communication across different levels of the organization.
