The role
Our client is a leading company operating in the design and execution of heavy metal solutions for construction and energy. As part of its growth and the restructuring of its Purchasing and Supply Chain department, it seeks to strengthen its team with a Procurement Technician for its manufacturing unit in Santarém.
What you'll do
key responsibilities
This professional will have the following main responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for raw materials and specific materials for works, in strict coordination with Budgeting and Engineering;
- Consult, negotiate, and contract specialized services and subcontracts (e.g., galvanization, surface treatments, industrial painting);
- Analyze technical specifications of materials and propose the most efficient solutions for each project;
- Monitor delivery deadlines and ensure the technical compliance of supplies alongside the Logistics area.
