Purchasing Technician

Integrated into the central mining operations support team, your responsibilities will include: Management of purchasing processes, from the receipt and analysis of needs to the award and monitoring of orders; Prospecting, consulting, negotiating, and evaluating suppliers, seeking the best conditions for price, deadline, quality, and service; Preparation and analysis of comparative maps and support for purchasing decision-making; Management and monitoring of procurement processes in the system (SAP), ensuring correct documentation and traceability of processes; Monitoring of suppliers and resolution of issues related to supplies, deadlines, and agreed conditions; Support to project/operations teams in different markets, promoting compliance with internal purchasing procedures; Analysis of cost optimization opportunities and development of supply alternatives.

• Higher or Technical Education;
• Experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in mining equipment;
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience;
• Fluency in English (mandatory) and French (preferred);
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA;
• Good negotiation, analysis, and organizational skills;
• Result orientation and the ability to work with different geographies and teams;
• Availability for international travel.
