What we're looking for

skills
- Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field;
- + 5 years of professional experience in SAP BASIS Administration;
- Practical knowledge of transport management, technical architecture, and system monitoring;
- Experience in Managed System Monitoring;
- Knowledge of SAP function modules, RFCs, ALEs, BAPIs, and Solution Manager (SOLMAN) or Cloud ALM (CALM);
- Experience with SAP BTP and Artificial Intelligence is an advantage, but not mandatory;
- Ideally, knowledge of S/4HANA system operations and the ABAP programming language;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Ability for efficient diagnosis and resolution of incidents (troubleshooting);
- Advanced level in English (mandatory) - at least B2;
- Proven ability to evaluate options, propose solutions, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

The role

Randstad Digital is recruiting an SAP Basis Administrator to join a multinational industrial sector company directly, in Ovar.

What you'll do

key responsibilities
- Performance and workload analysis, as well as security optimization and SAP system integrity diagnostics, based on OSS Notes, EWA, and SAP best practices;
- Change and Release Management at the application, OS, and database levels, including SAP Kernel updates (Upgrades), SAP Add-ons, Support Packages, and third-party tools, in close collaboration with external service providers;
- Definition of system landscape configurations and ensuring their correct parameterization;
- Coordination of regular data updates and associated processes;
- Acting as a bridge with the external service partner to ensure system reliability and performance;
- Administration of Solution Manager and/or Cloud ALM (CALM) for system monitoring, transport management, and other functionalities;
- Providing SAP Basis support to critical business application projects;
- Configuration, monitoring, optimization, and maintenance of interfaces and services through SAP BTP, SAP IAS, or other integration and middleware technologies;
- Development of effective AI solutions, according to business needs and requirements.
