The role
The Hotel Pestana Palace Lisboa is a member of the prestigious The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW), it is a restored 19th-century palace - the Palácio Valle Flôr, former residence of counts and marquesses. Classified as a National Monument, its privileged location allows for enjoying a view over the Tagus River.
What you'll do
Responsible for the organization and coordination of the kitchen service and the entire team, ensuring excellence in service.
· Coordinate the kitchen service in the absence of the Head Chef;
· Control quality, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction;
· Manage the kitchen team and ensure their coordination and cooperation with the restaurant;
· Promote compliance with HACCP standards;
· Ensure compliance with service and quality procedures;
· Ensure stock control and the placing of orders;
· Ensure the cleaning and tidiness of spaces and equipment.
