Department Manager

Store: Castelo Branco

• I provide good monitoring and development of my team and ensure their daily motivation, contributing to the good management and
  retention of Company talent;

• I co-construct the annual objectives of the store and define the short/medium-term strategy of the Department, ensuring the sustainable development of my business and conveying the why, the direction, and the necessary guidelines to the teams;

• I continuously monitor the development of my business, connecting the different parts that compose the whole and driving the team toward the proactive definition of the actions and initiatives necessary to achieve the defined plan;

• I perform data-driven management, making decisions based on data and KPIs from different sources, performing analyses of collections and ranges and anticipating potential impacts;

• I promote a human-centric culture, educating the team on listening and advising and selling solutions in an omnichannel way;

• I promote active listening within my team and monitor customer satisfaction indicators through different measurement tools;

• I promote the Full, Clean, Marked, and Safe Department among the teams involved, promoting compliance with commercial and safety criteria;

• I manage the offering and effectively coordinate the implementation of collections with the aim of keeping the offering updated and suitable for the needs of customers/consumers and the time to market;

• I understand the phygital customer and the external environment and the competition with the aim of incorporating innovations, growth niches, continuous improvement dynamics, and best practices;

• I proactively analyze and monitor the Department's results, following and analyzing the Operating Account through to the net margin;

• I monitor the conversion rates from website visits to my store;

• I understand the visitor flow and its variations to adapt resources in line with economic activity.

• Academic training at the bachelor's degree level, preferably in management or similar;

• 3 years of professional experience, preferably in retail;

• IT skills from a user perspective (Google Tools);

• Proactivity and a sense of responsibility;

• Spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship;

• Ability for autonomy and decision-making;

• Ease of interpersonal relationships and teamwork;

• Good communication, negotiation, and influence skills;

• Knowledge of English.
