What we're looking for
- Proven experience in goods checking and forklift handling roles.
- Valid Forklift Certificate (mandatory).
- Computer skills from a user perspective, for stock recording.
- Ability to work in a team and to meet deadlines.
- Physical robustness and availability to perform strenuous tasks.
- Sense of responsibility, organization, and attention to detail.
- Availability to work flexible hours, if necessary.
Pay & benefits
What you'll get
- Fixed schedule if Monday to Friday from 3 PM to 12 AM.
- €935 Base Salary.
- €8.30 Meal Allowance on a card.
- Holiday and Christmas allowances paid in 12 monthly installments.
The role
A Job&Talent powered by Multitempo is recruiting a Goods Checker w/ forklift operator for a leading company in the transport and logistics sector, located in Vila Nova de Gaia.
What you'll do
- Reception, checking, and storage of goods, ensuring the accuracy of products and quantities.
- Handling of forklifts for moving loads, complying with safety standards.
- Preparation of orders for dispatch, ensuring correct identification and packaging.
- Verification and recording of stock entries and exits, using computer systems.
- Organization and maintenance of warehouse tidiness and cleanliness.
- Collaboration with the team in optimizing logistical processes.
- Identification and communication of non-conformities or equipment breakdowns.
