What we're looking for
- Experience in the implementation and monitoring of environmental management systems.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in environmental management (preferred).
- Experience in project management and conducting training (preferred).
- Organizational skills, critical analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication, collaborative spirit, and autonomy in both individual and team work.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with the ISO 14001 standard (preferred).
The role
Contribute to the implementation of the Jerónimo Martins Group's environmental strategies, ensuring compliance with the environmental management system requirements in Pingo Doce establishments. You will track and monitor the environmental performance of the stores, support the implementation of good practices, and ensure the necessary training for teams, promoting a more sustainable and efficient operation.
What you'll do
- Ensure the operationalization of the Environmental Management program in food retail establishments.
- Ensure compliance with environmental legal specifications and requirements in existing stores and new openings.
- Develop and implement action plans and projects that reinforce eco-efficiency and environmental performance.
- Perform environmental good practice and legal compliance audits, ensuring monitoring and operational control.
- Prepare environmental management system documentation (manuals, plans, procedures, and work instructions).
- Deliver training actions and develop content to empower teams and promote environmental good practices.
- Prepare technical information for stakeholders and official entities.
