Executive Housekeeping Manager - Six Senses Douro Valley

Six Senses is recruiting an Executive Housekeeping Manager / Executive Housekeeper to join our team in the award-winning Douro Valley!

We are looking for an experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager who seeks a new challenge and is passionate not only about working with teams, but also has attention to detail.

Below are some of the tasks you will perform on a daily basis:

• Focus on revitalizing my department, both in the guest rooms and in the common areas.
• Evaluate and review amenities, services, products, and room rates to ensure they remain relevant and in compliance with Six Senses' wellness and sustainability practices.
• Focus on and regularly review, through my physical presence in all areas of the property, our rigorous adherence to LQA standards.
• Lead a team of dedicated and experienced hosts to provide exceptional operating and service standards to Six Senses.
• Responsible for an exceptional guest experience. In the event of guest complaints, I will perform service recovery effectively or hold hosts accountable to do so, for guest satisfaction.
• Ensure that my department complies with all legal, statutory, and financial requirements.
• Implement, review, and maintain documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, safety and protection protocols, communications, and product and service standards.
• Ensure that interaction and communication between the property's departments are clear and effective to guarantee the smooth running of the property.
• Ensure that all activities of my department are carried out ethically, honestly, and within the parameters of local legislation.
• Review and control the strict adherence to my department's budget and ensure that all costs are continuously monitored and controlled to drive profitability, while taking into account the preservation of required standards in all decisions made.
• Prepare and send legally required and confidential documentation related to my department.
