We are looking for an AI R&D Software Engineer for our MC Digital Labs & AI Transformation team and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!

We are counting on you to...

• Conduct applied AI R&D across the team's various work fronts, such as SDLC.AI (AI First Software Development) and AGENTS.AI (Technological ecosystem for agent development), transforming hypotheses into experiences with measurable results.
• Design and execute evaluation techniques (evals) for models and agents, defining metrics, datasets, and success criteria aligned with our real-world tasks.
• Benchmark commercial and open-weight models against MC's reality, comparing quality, performance, latency, and cost in concrete use cases, both in software development and business processes.
• Follow community releases and new models, instantiating and testing them in our context.
• Prototype and test agentic architectures, frameworks, SDKs, and low-code/no-code platforms, evaluating their impact and scaling potential.
• Explore model adaptation techniques (e.g., prompting, RAG, fine-tuning) to improve results in specific tasks.
• Define and evolve the AI laboratory tools and infrastructure that support continuous experimentation.
• Share findings and recommendations with technical and business teams, supporting decisions on what to adopt and scale.
