The role
Impairment and Stress Test AnalystCountry: Portugal
Integrated into the Enterprise Risk Management area, you will support the Bank in credit impairment assessment (IFRS 9) and in the execution of regulatory and strategic Stress Test exercises. On a daily basis, you will work with large volumes of data, interact with different teams (including the Corporation/Group), and produce documentation and reports (reporting) for various stakeholders. This is a role with high exposure to risk, macroeconomics, and modeling topics, with a focus on rigor, deadlines, and continuous process improvement.
What you'll do
To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing credit impairment calculations and analysis (IFRS 9) for all the Bank's portfolios, ensuring quality and compliance with deadlines.
- Exploring and analyzing internal and external databases, identifying trends, and producing information to support decision-making.
- Participating in the preparation and execution of Stress Test exercises (regulatory and strategic), including ICAAP, EBA, and Strategic Planning.
- Following up on projects and initiatives with the Corporation/Group, articulating requirements and ensuring methodological alignment.
- Elaborating and maintaining methodological and technical documentation, as well as preparing presentations and reports for different stakeholders.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, automation, and quality control of data and results.
- Ensuring traceability, governance, and evidence for audit and regulatory compliance.
