Capital & Credit Markets Senior Specialist

Global Financial Risk Management department is looking for a Capital & Credit Markets Senior Specialist.

What you will do

• Prepare recurring reports, analysis and presentations on financial risk exposures and hedging activities;
• Supporting the company's financial risk management activities, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and counterparty risk,
• Analyse risk exposures, prepare reports that support decision-making, and coordinate with teams across Finance, Trading, Accounting, Legal, and other business areas
• Monitor FX mismatches (including USD and EDPR Shared Facilities) and support the preparation of hedging proposals;
• Maintain databases related to counterparties, business allocation, trading documentation and internal controls;
• Support ISDA negotiations, onboarding of counterparties, KYC processes and legal documentation;
• Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office to ensure the timely completion of operational activities;
• Assist in audit requests, regulatory reporting and internal documentation;
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve reporting tools;
• Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external counterparties.

What are we looking for

• Degree in business/economics or a quantitative discipline, e.g. statistics, mathematics or physics, with excellent academic record.,

• Experience (minimum 1-2 years) in risk analysis, trading, middle office or back office roles or a related financial field such as Treasury,
• Experience in handling trading systems such as single-dealer and multi-dealer platfoms (namely 360T, FX All), Bloomberg, Refinitiv (former Reuters) is a plus,
• Action-orientation: ability to identify and resolve issues urgently and thoughtfully,
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and keep track of various deadlines in a fast-paced, high demand environment,
• Results orientation: ability to stay organized and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Experience with Agile methodologies is considered an advantage
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality and accuracy.
• asic understanding of financial risks, namely forex, interest rate, credit and liquidity risk
• Basic knowledge of financial instruments namely foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives, plain vanilla and non-plain vanilla
• Basic understanding of financial markets, applicable regulation (MIFID II, EMIR, etc.), best practices (forex CODE, etc.), and other specificities
• Analytical skills
• Basic understanding of accounting topics and tax structures
• Presence and interpersonal credibility to represent the company with key financial stakeholders, namely banks, financial institutions, government agencies / departments and partners
