Shipping Technician (m/f/x)

Initial employment contract with Randstad, with the possibility of integration into the client's permanent staff.

Base salary: €920.00 (indicative, defined in the context of a technical interview)

Meal allowance via meal card: €7/day.

Randstad is recruiting for a renowned factory located in Águeda, a benchmark in the metallurgical sector. Our client is recognized for its quality and excellence in the production of high-value components. We are looking for a rigorous and experienced professional to ensure the efficient operation of the shipping process and customer contact.

Handling and Storage Operations: Use pallet racks and forklifts to move, organize, and store materials and products safely and efficiently

Shipping Preparation: Verify, check, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring compliance with established specifications and deadlines

Documentation Management: Record and update information regarding movements, entries, and exits of materials in IT systems

Quality Control: Inspect products before shipment, identifying possible damage or non-conformities

Organization and Cleaning: Keep work areas, the warehouse, and shipping zones organized, clean, and safe

Compliance with Safety Standards: Rigorously apply occupational safety and hygiene procedures, using appropriate protective equipment

Customer Contact: Support communication with customers regarding shipping issues and order tracking

Administrative Development: Participate in administrative tasks related to logistics, acquiring knowledge of processes and systems

Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and departments to resolve operational challenges and optimize processes

Meeting Deadlines: Ensure that shipments are carried out within the agreed deadlines, maintaining high quality standards

Delivery/Collection of material using a company vehicle skills

Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 08:00-18:00 and Friday from 08:00-12:00
