Quality Assurance Engineer - Software Security

The Quality Assurance Engineer is a core member of a cross‑functional Scrum team, driving the overall quality strategy for advanced Nokia optical networking solutions. In this senior role, you will influence product architecture, guide best‑in‑class test practices, and ensure quality is embedded throughout the entire R&D lifecycle. You will mentor team members, lead complex quality initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement across multiple Agile teams in a multicultural, collaborative environment.

• Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Python.
• Execute functional and security testing, including authentication, authorization, API security, vulnerability validation, and robustness testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and security specialists to support secure-by-design development.
• Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives, security automation, and AI-assisted testing approaches.

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience with Python test automation.
• Knowledge of software security principles, Linux environments, and networking fundamentals.
• Understanding of security testing and secure development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English.
