Sustainability Technician (m/f/x)

• Direct integration into a solid and growing company, with strong market recognition

• Employment Contract - fixed term - 12 months, renewable

• Base salary: between EUR 1300 and 1600, to be evaluated based on experience and basic training

• Meal Allowance EUR 10.46/actual working day, paid via Meal Card

• Health insurance after the probationary period (30 days)

• Schedule: 40 hours per week distributed from Monday to Friday in 8h daily, 9h-13h/14h-18h.

• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's sustainability policy, promoting the integration of environmental, social, and governance dimensions into the organization's processes, projects, and decisions.

• The role should contribute to the identification and management of sustainability risks and opportunities, to the fulfillment of environmental and social responsibility objectives, and to the consolidation of an organizational culture oriented towards sustainability, efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

• You will also be responsible for supporting the collection, processing, and reporting of sustainability information, ensuring coordination between the different areas of the company and responding to requests from internal departments, the company, clients, suppliers, partners, auditors, and other external entities.

• Higher education in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Environmental Management, or similar areas.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Ease of use with ERP and other management tools.

• Knowledge of data visualization tools, namely Power BI, is valued.

• Minimum professional experience of 2 to 3 years in Sustainability Technician roles, preferably in the food or industrial sector.

• In-depth knowledge of Portuguese and European environmental legislation, as well as sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, SDGs, ISO 14001, SA8000).

• Proven ability to develop and implement sustainability projects, from conception to monitoring of results.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in oral and written communication in Portuguese and English.

• Familiarity with data management tools and sustainability reporting software will be valued.
