Rental Service Agent

• Required: 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, rent-a-car, or the automotive sector

The Rental Service Agent performs a dual role:

This position is fundamental to ensuring that customers leave satisfied, whether they are starting a rental trip or acquiring their future motorhome.

The Rental Service Agent executes all rental operations with direct customer contact and performs professional motorhome demonstrations to convert leads into buyers. This is a hands-on, customer-centric role that combines service, product presentation, operational execution, and commercial follow-up.
Both in rental and sales, this role ensures that every vehicle, every interaction, and every moment with the customer reflects the high standards of Indie Campers.

• Customer Experience Ambassador for bookings

• Sales Specialist for demonstrations and conversion in motorhome purchases

• Customer Service & Operations: Perform check-ins/check-outs, briefings, and provide continuous support during the rental. Manage critical situations and emergencies with empathy.
• Sales Demonstrations & Customer Engagement: Prepare and perform motorhome demonstrations, presenting features and specifications and adapting to the customer's needs. Ensure efficient deliveries and complete documentation.
• Sales Conversion & Lead Management: Follow up on leads, demonstrations, and follow-ups in CRM. Convert rental customers into sales opportunities and support the RV Sales District and City Lead in meeting objectives.
• Product Knowledge & Technical Support: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Indie Campers' motorhome models and perform basic system demonstrations (lighting, gas, etc.). Diagnose problems and escalate when necessary.

• Required: Ability to remain standing, walk, and move around the space for long periods
• Required: Ability to lift or carry light to moderate loads (10-15 kg)
• Required: Comfort working outdoors under different weather conditions
• Required: Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak periods
• Required: Ability to deal with customers in different emotional states (excited, stressed, confused) with calmness and professionalism
