Housekeeping Supervisor (m/f) - Octant Vilamonte

Responsible for supervising and inspecting the cleaning work carried out in the assigned rooms or common areas in order to ensure that product quality standards are met.

• Organize and coordinate the cleaning, tidying, and maintenance work of the facilities, equipment, and utensils of the rooms and hotel;
• Manage and plan the daily tasks of the housekeeping and floor cleaning team;
• Communicate all anomalies found to the Executive Housekeeper;
• Request all products necessary for the proper functioning of the department;
• Participate in the preparation of inventories and stock analysis;
• Foster good communication with the other departments;
• Comply with the hotel's safety procedures, fire procedures, and all current health and safety legislation;
• Support in cost control management;
• Interaction with reception (control of arrivals and departures) and with the laundry;
• Preparation of the lists necessary for the housekeeping service (Arrival list with information by room number; List of resident guests by room number; Departure list by numerical order of rooms; No-show report (to remove VIPs, extra beds, cribs...);
• Monitoring of the quality of the service provided;
• Receive service sheets and keys from the floor cleaners;
• Actively participate in the recruitment, selection, and training of employees for the area;
• Supports other departments whenever necessary.
