Certified Accountant

A Forte Store is a fully Portuguese company operating in the trade of prestige brands from the Fashion World.

We are a growing company and are currently hiring a Certified Accountant who, reporting to the Department Manager, will join the Administrative - Finance Department team, investing in its development in order to meet the strong growth of its activity.

• Degree in Accounting, Taxation or a related field;
• Registration with the Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (OCC) - mandatory;
• Professional experience of more than 3 years in similar roles;
• In-depth knowledge of national accounting standards (SNC);
• Solid knowledge of taxation;
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;,
• Proficiency in accounting software (PHC) - preferred;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Seriousness, a strong sense of responsibility, ability to work and meet deadlines;
• Residence in the Braga area.

Job description:

• Ensure compliance with legal and tax obligations across the various companies in the group;
• Ensure the compliance of records with applicable accounting and tax standards;
• Prepare the financial statements of the group's companies;
• Ensure monthly and annual account closings, including account analysis, the recording of expense accruals, and performing various reconciliations.
