Accounts Payable Specialist

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, or a similar field;

• 1 to 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Financial Administration roles;

• Knowledge of general accounting;

• Good knowledge of Excel;

• Experience with ERP (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Primavera, PHC, or equivalent will be valued);

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail;

• Proactivity, sense of responsibility, and ability to work in a team;

• Good communication skills;

• Fluency in Portuguese and knowledge of English.

• Receipt, validation, and registration of supplier invoices;

• Ensure the correct approval of invoices in accordance with internal procedures;

• Prepare and monitor payment proposals, ensuring compliance with agreed deadlines;

• Monitor supplier current accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

• Perform supplier account reconciliations;

• Ensure the correct accounting allocation of expenses;

• Support monthly and annual closing activities related to Accounts Payable;

• Ensure the organization and filing of financial documentation.

• Ensure contact with suppliers to clarify issues related to invoices and payments;

• Collaborate with the Purchasing, Accounting, and Treasury teams to ensure the correct management of the Procure-to-Pay process;

• Support the updating of supplier information in internal systems.

• Contribute to the optimization and automation of Accounts Payable processes;

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial procedures;

• Identify opportunities for improvement in the operational efficiency of the finance area.
