Accountant

MAP Group intends to strengthen the Accounting Department team with a Certified Accountant who must ensure, notably:

• Organization, classification, and entry of accounting documents;
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax legislation;
• Execution of operations, analysis, and preparation of information and documentation for monthly and annual closings, including Reports and Accounts;
• Analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts;
• Preparation and submission of tax returns;
• Monitoring and preparation of elements for audit;
• Monitoring and control of internal procedures;
• Other administrative and financial tasks inherent to the role.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or similar;
• Certified Accountant, registered with the OCC (mandatory);
• Good knowledge of Accounting standards and tax legislation;
• Minimum professional experience of 3 years in similar roles;
• Professional experience in the Civil Construction area will be valued;
• Good IT knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP (preferred);
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English (will be valued);
• Strict compliance with confidentiality and discretion requirements;

• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and teamwork skills;
• Analytical capacity, planning skills, and critical thinking.
