Perform customer service and checkout at the supermarket's cash registers, as well as restocking merchandise in the sales area, ensuring speed and efficiency in the payment process and the continuous availability of products throughout business hours.

Main duties and requirements.

• Handle simple customer requests at the counter and forward issues requiring specialized advice to the responsible professional, ensuring service quality during peak periods.
• Verify the maintenance of the cold chain, the state of the ice, and the freshness of the products, removing non-compliant items and communicating any incidents to the supervisor, in order to avoid their sale and reduce shrinkage.
• Restock the counter, the display case, and the shelves throughout the shift, respecting the defined layout and FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation, ensuring product availability and an attractive presentation until the store closes.
• Comply with personal hygiene procedures, cleaning of utensils, equipment, and surfaces, as well as filling out applicable records, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and the HACCP system.
• Perform the reception of fresh fish and seafood, verifying quantities, temperatures, and dates, and storing the products in the cold room according to their respective preservation requirements, ensuring the maintenance of the cold chain and the minimization of shrinkage.
• Perform, under supervision, the cleaning and preparation tasks of fresh fish and seafood, following defined procedures and standards, in order to guarantee the quality, safety, and proper presentation of the products for display and sale.
