Perform support tasks in the Deli section, ensuring the preparation and replenishment of products at the counter and in the sales area, under the supervision of the Professional or Coordinator, in order to guarantee the availability, freshness, and correct presentation of the assortment throughout the store's operating hours.

Main duties and requirements.

• Apply personal hygiene procedures and ensure the cleaning of utensils, equipment, and surfaces, as well as the correct completion of records inherent to the role, guaranteeing compliance with food safety standards and the HACCP self-control system.
• Attend to simple customer requests at the counter, providing quality service and forwarding issues requiring specialized advice to the responsible professional, in order to ensure a high level of service during peak periods.
• Perform, under supervision, the tasks of slicing and preparing trays of cured meats, cheeses, and other deli products, following defined techniques and standards, in order to guarantee that products reach the counter with the established levels of quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Carry out the reception of cured meats, cheeses, and sliced products, verifying quantities, temperatures, and expiration dates, as well as proceeding with their correct storage in the cold room according to the preservation conditions defined for each product, guaranteeing the maintenance of the cold chain and the minimization of shrinkage.
• Replenish the counter, the display case, and the shelves throughout the working day, respecting the defined product layout and the FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation principle, guaranteeing the permanent availability of the assortment and an attractive and organized presentation until the store closes.
• Verify the preservation conditions of the products displayed in the showcase and control their respective best-before dates, immediately removing non-compliant items and communicating any incidents to the section manager, in order to guarantee food safety, prevent their sale, and minimize department shrinkage.
