IT- Mainframe Specialist

Your role will be to act as a Senior Mainframe Solutions Technician, ensuring the management, evolution, performance, and continuity of zSeries (zOS) systems, contributing to the technological roadmap and guaranteeing the high availability of core services.

• Manage administration services, resource consumption, licensing, and costs of mainframe environments.

• Guarantee availability, performance, and SLAs of zSeries (zOS) systems.

• Participate in the IT strategic plan, evaluating new solutions and improving the existing architecture.

• Prepare Specifications and evaluate proposals for equipment and hardware/software solutions.

• Resolve complex problems in zSeries zOS environments, including infrastructure and application solutions.

• Ensure compliance with security policies, regulations, and audits.

• Manage projects, prepare technical documentation, standards, and manuals.

• Provide technical support and training to application development and maintenance teams.

• Security: understanding and practical application of security policies and standards.
• Soft skills: communication, team spirit, adaptability, and ability to interact with internal teams.

• Rigor and responsibility: compliance with internal methodologies, standards, and norms.

• Experience in project management.
