Mainframe Operator

We are looking for a Mainframe Operator to join our technology team. The professional will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and ensuring the availability of systems in a mainframe environment, contributing to the continuous and efficient functioning of the company's IT operations.

• Monitor and operate systems in a mainframe environment, ensuring their availability and performance.
• Identify and solve technical problems in an agile manner, minimizing operational impacts.
• Execute and monitor batch jobs, backups, restorations, and scheduled processes.
• Manage print queues and other related output services.
• Record and document incidents, changes, and solutions in the IT management system (ITSM).
• Work in collaboration with other IT teams to diagnose and resolve complex problems.
• Follow and execute contingency and disaster recovery plans, as necessary.
• Keep knowledge of mainframe technologies and tools up to date.
