Job Description
- Analyze and map the current tariffing process and related activities within the EU Import Mailbox.
- Identify stakeholders, process interfaces, manual activities, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities across the end-to-end workflow.
- Support and manage operational bottlenecks in the current mailbox handling process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, clarify roles and responsibilities, and eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Implement process improvements and redesign workflows to create leaner, more efficient ways of working.
- Drive initiatives towards process automation, with the long-term objective of minimizing or eliminating manual mailbox handling.
- Document and communicate new processes, acting as the first point of contact for stakeholder questions and feedback.
- Monitor process stabilization, incorporate improvement feedback where needed, and ensure a successful handover to the operational team.
Requirements
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Experience in process analysis, process improvement, or Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in an operational environment.
- Experience in Foreign Trade, Customs, or related areas such as Logistics, Purchasing, or Sales is an advantage.
Know-how
- Process mapping and workflow analysis.
- Continuous Improvement (CIP) methodologies.
- Process optimization and automation mindset.
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Languages
- English – Full professional proficiency (written and spoken).
- German – Nice to have.
- Portuguese – Nice to have.
