Requirements

What we're looking for

Higher Education in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar;
Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in BIM modeling and in EPC industrial projects;
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and Navisworks;
Proficiency in MS Project and Autodesk Construction Cloud (preferred);
Solid knowledge of industrial piping, industrial HVAC, electricity, civil construction, and metal structures and equipment;
Knowledge of construction planning;
Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM standards (preferred);
Ability to work in a collaborative environment with engineers and BIM coordinators.
Strong Organizational Capacity;
Analytical thinking;
Ability to anticipate construction problems;
Good technical communication and collaborative spirit;
High technical rigor;
Ease of coordination between project and site.

The role

TDGI - Tecnologia de Gestão de Imóveis, a company of the Teixeira Duarte Group—a group widely known in the Civil Construction and Public Works sector, operating in the areas of Facility Management, Global Building Management, Developments, and Technical and Industrial Installations—seeks to integrate a BIM Modeler into its teams for the Lisbon area.

What you'll do

Create and develop detailed 3D models in Revit;
Integrate different disciplines into the federated model (architecture, structure, MEP);
Identify and correct conflicts through clash detection (Navisworks);
Generate technical documentation, plans, sections, and elevations from BIM models;
Ensure that models follow the BIM standards established by the BIM coordinator;
Update models according to project changes, maintaining traceability;
Work with engineers and project managers to optimize modeling and quantity extraction.
