Requirements

What we're looking for

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Engineering or similar;
More than 5 years of experience in software development, with systems built and operated in production;
Proficiency in C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core), including asynchronous programming, memory management, and performance optimization;
Experience in designing APIs and distributed systems based on microservices;
Solid experience in event-driven architectures and messaging (e.g., Solace, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus), including patterns such as outbox, sagas, eventual consistency, and idempotent processing;
Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including data modeling and query optimization;
Experience with resilience and high availability patterns in cloud environments, ideally GCP and K8s;
Experience with observability tools (logs, metrics, tracing) and with resolving performance issues in production;
Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and application security best practices (SSL/TLS, authentication, secrets management);
Practical skills in AI, both in using AI tools for development and in integrating models and LLMs into product solutions;
Analytical vision, with the ability to investigate problems deeply, measure impact, and make considered technical decisions;
Ability to influence technically and to support the growth of other developers;
Excellent communication skills, empathy, and assertiveness;
Availability to work in a DevOps model, specifically in an on-call regime.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for our Digital Customer XP team and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!

We are counting on you to...

What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance C# / .NET services and APIs in the Customer and Loyalty area;
Design and implement event-driven architectures, ensuring reliable asynchronous communication between services, with fault handling, reprocessing, and data consistency;
Ensure system performance: identify bottlenecks, perform profiling, optimize code, queries, and resource consumption, and validate results with load testing;
Design resilient solutions, applying patterns such as retries, circuit breakers, timeouts, idempotency, dead-letter queues, caching, and graceful degradation;
Take end-to-end ownership of the technical component of critical features, from technical design to production monitoring;
Make technical decisions based on data, metrics, and trade-off analysis, documenting and communicating them clearly to the team;
Analyze system behavior in production, lead root cause analysis of incidents, and implement improvements to reduce their recurrence;
Use AI tools (code assistants, agents, automation) to increase productivity and development quality, with a critical spirit and rigorous validation of results;
Integrate AI capabilities into products (model APIs, LLMs, RAG), taking into account quality, cost, latency, security, and data privacy;
Promote guidelines, standards, and best practices in architecture, engineering, security, and quality, through code reviews, pair programming, and technical mentoring of other developers.
