Senior Energy, Energy Efficiency and Fire Safety Manager (m/f)

• Lead and develop the Energy and Energy Efficiency and Fire Safety teams.
• Define action plans, priorities, and performance indicators for both areas.
• Coordinate and monitor energy efficiency and alternative energy projects, especially regarding their licensing, budgeting, and evolution.
• Identify investment opportunities, incentives, tax benefits, and public subsidies.
• Monitor energy audits, certifications, maintenance plans, and consumption analysis.
• Supervise the procurement processes and management of energy suppliers.
• Coordinate the monitoring of maintenance, audits, inspections, and self-protection measures in the Fire Safety area, especially regarding their licensing, budgeting, and evolution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, standards, and regulations.
• Monitor licensing processes and the relationship with official entities.
• Monitor project effectiveness, the savings generated, and the respective financial impact.
• Ensure coordination with hotel units and the different areas of Pestana Hotel Group.

Location: Alcântara, Lisbon

What we are looking for

• Higher education in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or similar areas.
• Proven experience in leadership roles in the areas of energy, energy efficiency, technical facilities, or similar.
• Knowledge of Fire Safety in Buildings and applicable legislation.
• Qualified Expert (PQII) by Adene (preferred);

• TGE (Energy Management Technician) and/or TRM (Maintenance Responsible Technician);

• Experience in monitoring licensing processes, audits, and certifications.
• Ability to analyze and monitor investments, budgets, costs, and savings.

• Experience in the hotel sector will be considered an asset.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Strategic vision and orientation towards management, results, and continuous improvement.
• Availability for travel.
