Data Operations (Kafka / Confluent) - Lisbon

• Experience in the operation of mission-critical platforms;

• Knowledge of messaging, systems integration, and data flows;
• Experience in incident management and resolution;
• Troubleshooting capability and complex problem analysis;
• Good communication and collaboration skills with technical and functional teams.

• Experience in the administration and operation of distributed environments;
• Knowledge of Linux, networking, and security;
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and logging tools;
• Knowledge of operational automation;
• Experience in process documentation, auditing, and compliance.

Noesis is looking for a professional to ensure the operation, stability, and availability of the Kafka / Confluent platform. You will be responsible for guaranteeing the correct functioning of the platform, supporting data producers and consumers, monitoring critical services, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the continuity and optimization of the data ecosystem.

• Ensure the daily operation of the Kafka / Confluent platform;
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, and infrastructure health;
• Manage incidents, problems, and change requests;
• Administer clusters, brokers, topics, connectors, and permissions;
• Support integrations between message producers and consumers;
• Identify operational risks and implement preventive and corrective actions;
• Produce and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and runbooks;
• Contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and standardization initiatives.

Location: Lisbon, hybrid regime (2x per week, in the office)
