Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Previous professional experience as a driver's assistant or in similar roles in the logistics and transport area.
  • Physical robustness and ability to handle loads, complying with all safety and ergonomics standards.
  • Residence in Vila Nova de Gaia or nearby locations, with ease of commuting to the workplace.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of road safety and goods handling standards (preferred).

The role

A Job&Talent powered by Multitempo is recruiting a Driver's Assistant for a leading company in the transport and logistics sector, located in Vila Nova de Gaia.

What you'll do

  • Support the driver in loading and unloading operations of goods, ensuring the correct arrangement and packaging of products.
  • Perform deliveries and collections of goods, according to pre-defined routes.
  • Perform the loading and unloading of goods, guaranteeing their integrity and safety.
  • Verify the compliance of loads with transport guides and other documents.

How you'll work

  • Fixed schedule from Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 16:00 + overtime.

Offer

  • 935€ Base salary.
  • 8.30€/day meal allowance on a card.
  • Holiday and Christmas allowances paid in twelfths.
