Provide support to the activities of the Butchery department, preparing and replenishing products at the counter and in the sales area, under the supervision of the Professional or the Coordinator, ensuring the availability, freshness, and correct presentation of the assortment throughout the entire sales day.

Main duties and requirements.

• Apply personal hygiene protocols, ensuring the cleanliness of utensils, equipment, and surfaces, as well as filling out the corresponding records, in order to guarantee compliance with food safety standards and the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) self-control system.
• Attend to simple customer requests at the counter, forwarding questions that require specialized advice to the Professional, in order to guarantee service quality and maintain efficient service during peak periods.
• Perform, under supervision, the tasks of cutting and preparing trays of fresh meats and prepared meat products, following the defined techniques and formats, in order to ensure that products reach the counter with the established quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
• Carry out the reception of fresh meats and prepared meat products, verifying quantities, temperatures, and expiration dates, and storing the products in the refrigeration chambers according to the storage conditions of each reference, ensuring the maintenance of the cold chain and the minimization of shrinkage and waste.
• Ensure the replenishment of the counter, the display case, and the shelves throughout the working day, respecting the defined layout and the FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation principle, guaranteeing the permanent availability of products and an appealing presentation of the assortment until the store closes.
• Verify the temperatures of the storage chambers and the expiration dates of the products, removing non-compliant items and communicating any incidents to the person in charge, in order to avoid their sale and minimize department shrinkage.
