What we're looking for

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Operational Research, or similar areas;
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Data Science or advanced analytics;
Experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of models in a business context;
Experience in technical leadership and team coordination, including planning, work monitoring, and guidance of team members;
Solid knowledge of statistics, advanced analytics, Python, PySpark, and SQL;
Experience in data preparation, exploration, and quality;
Proficiency in supervised and unsupervised machine learning;
Knowledge of predictive and prescriptive modeling, experimentation, A/B testing, and optimization;
Experience in explainability, performance monitoring, and model re-training;
Knowledge of English.

Nice to have

Experience with Spark, Databricks, MLflow, Kubeflow, H2O, or equivalent tools;
Experience in building datasets and using Big Data frameworks, namely HIVE, HDFS, and Spark;
Professional experience in the banking sector;
Analytical thinking and the ability to relate model metrics to business results;
Clear communication of technical topics to different stakeholders;
Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams;
Autonomy, rigor, and critical thinking;

You will have the opportunity to work on challenges involving predictive and prescriptive modeling, experimentation, optimization, and Artificial Intelligence.

In this role, you may technically lead projects and teams, collaborate with different areas, and contribute to the industrialization and continuous evolution of analytical solutions with impact on the business and the customer experience.

What you'll do

Lead functional teams, aligning the implementation of solutions with business objectives;
Design and develop Data Science and advanced analytics solutions for decision support;
Develop predictive and prescriptive models, personalization, automation, and optimization solutions;
Explore data to identify business opportunities, improve customer experience, and optimize processes;
Define methodologies for experimentation, monitoring, and impact assessment of solutions;
Ensure methodological quality, robustness, explainability, and documentation of models;
Monitor the performance evolution of solutions and promote respective re-training when necessary;
Guide other professionals on the team, promoting knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices;
Collaborate with business, data, and technology teams in the industrialization and continuous improvement of solutions;
Contribute to the evolution of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence capabilities.
