Requirements

What we're looking for

Higher education in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or similar areas;
Between 2 and 8 years of experience in programming, data analysis, modeling, optimization, or technical solution development, preferably with Python, SQL, databases, APIs, or data integration;
A passion for solving complex problems with code, data, and mathematical models, with the ability to move from analysis to prototype and from prototype to operational solution;
Strong analytical capacity and critical thinking;
Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and results orientation;
Dynamism and ability to work in a team;
We value knowledge or strong curiosity regarding electrical systems, photovoltaic energy, storage, electric mobility, energy markets, flexibility markets, or load control;
Fluency in Portuguese and knowledge of English (preferred).

The role

This vacancy will be to join our Innovation team, in a context closely linked to the energy transition and the development of digital solutions for photovoltaics, electric mobility, storage, energy consultancy, and smart asset management. We are looking for someone capable of designing, developing, and operationalizing forecasting, optimization, and control solutions, from data processing and model development to their integration into services and operational processes. The challenge involves modeling and optimizing energy systems in buildings with PV production, storage, electric mobility, thermal loads, energy price signals, flexibility markets, and load control strategies.

What you'll do

Develop models, algorithms, and decision support tools for distributed energy systems;
Develop end-to-end solutions, from analysis and modeling to implementation in an operational environment and measurable business impact;
Model photovoltaic production, storage, electric mobility, consumption, flexible loads, and market signals;
Create optimization, forecasting, and control solutions that contribute to more efficient and intelligent energy management;
Explore use cases linked to energy markets, flexibility markets, demand response, and automatic asset management;
Work with multidisciplinary teams in defining requirements, designing solutions, and technical validation of new services;
Transform data, technical knowledge, and code into products, metrics, and automations with real impact on the business and decarbonization.
