What we're looking for
skills
Proven previous experience in hotel, resort, or service building maintenance;
Versatile practical knowledge in plumbing, electricity, painting, and locksmithing;
Basic knowledge of water/pool treatment and HVAC systems (preferred factor);
Discreet professional posture, neat appearance, and customer orientation;
Good ability to respond to unforeseen events and work under pressure;
Availability and flexibility to work shifts and weekends;
Valid driver's license (preferred factor).

The role
Randstad is recruiting for a prestigious 4* hotel located in Viana do Castelo General Maintenance All-rounder (m/f/x)
What you'll do
key responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and technical zones;
Resolve faults reported by reception and the housekeeping department quickly and discreetly;
Carry out routine plumbing repairs (taps, cisterns, unblocking), basic electricity (lighting, sockets, small appliances), and carpentry;
Execute painting work, door/lock adjustments, and small masonry touch-ups;
Support the daily verification and control of HVAC systems, boilers, swimming pools, and technical centers;
Record interventions carried out and ensure the correct organization and control of tool and material stock.
