What we're looking for
- MsC degree in Telecommunications, Physics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field;
- Fluent in English, spoken and written;
Nice to have
- ISTQB certification is valuable.
- Knowledge of DWDM/OTN/IP technologies and fundamentals of Fiber Optical Transmission.
- SW testing, test automation or technical role in the Telecom industry.
- Outstanding academic background with specific academic work on relevant areas.
- Responsible and accountable, ownership and pride in your work.
- Good communication skills including ability to share knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
The role
Position: Internship Duration: 12 months Start date (tentative): December, 2026 Location: Hybrid in Carnaxide, Portugal Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school
What you'll do
- Defining together with the team the implementation and test strategy;
- Reviewing Product Specifications and developing test plans;
- Automating and executing test cases and documenting results;
- Supporting test automation initiatives based in Java in a DevOps environment.
