Robotics and Automation Technician (m/f/x)

Job&talent is recruiting, on behalf of a client company in Portalegre, a Robotics and Automation Technician:

• Participate in the development and optimization of industrial automation systems;

• Program, test, and support PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots;

• Identify, propose, and implement improvements in production processes, tools, and equipment, focusing on Safety, Quality, Environment, Productivity, and cost reduction;

• Participate in the installation, startup, and validation of new industrial equipment;

• Analyze breakdowns and support the resolution of technical problems in automatic equipment;

• Prepare specifications and technical documentation for new equipment and projects;

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Safety, and Maintenance teams in the continuous improvement of processes.

• Technical or higher education in the areas of Automation, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, Robotics or

similar fields;

• Knowledge of Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal / Step7), HMIs and/or Omron Sysmac Studio;

• Notions of industrial robot programming (KUKA, Fanuc, Mitsubishi or others);

• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams;

• Knowledge of industrial networks will be valued;

• Computer skills from a user perspective.

• Base salary between €1500 - €1800 gross/month, adjusted to experience;

• Schedule 08:00 - 13:00/ 14:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday
