Culinary & Wine Guide / Cooking Class Host (Hands-on Role) | Porto

Are you an energetic storyteller who loves food, wine, and meeting people from around the world? Join Canto Cooking as an active, hands-on Food & Wine Host!

This is an operational, guest-facing role - You will be on your feet leading daily walking tours, running interactive cooking workshops, and setting up and hosting wine tastings.

• Guide & Host: Lead dynamic walking food tours through Porto and host interactive tapas cooking classes.

• Wine Tastings: Present Port and Douro Table wines with enthusiasm and accessible storytelling.

• Kitchen & Tour Prep: Source fresh ingredients at Mercado do Bolhão, prep cooking stations, arrange food platters, and keep the kitchen spotless before and after sessions.

• Guest Delight: Build personal connections with international travelers to ensure 5-star experiences.

• Energy & Public Speaking: Confident, warm personality who loves engaging small groups and guiding tours on foot.

• Hands-on Experience: 1-2 years in tour guiding, hosting, event execution, bartending, or culinary support. (This is an individual contributor role, not a management position).

• Languages: Fluent English and good Spanish (mandatory). Other languages are a bonus.

• Physical Stamina & Passion: Ability to lead walking tours, prep food, and keep logistics running smoothly. Solid interest in local Portuguese gastronomy and wine.
