Provide support to the Butcher department, ensuring the preparation and replenishment of products at the counter and in the sales area, under the supervision of the Professional or Coordinator, in order to guarantee the availability, freshness, and correct presentation of the assortment throughout the entire sales period.

Main duties and requirements.

• Apply personal hygiene protocols, perform the cleaning of utensils, equipment, and surfaces, as well as fill in the necessary records, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and the HACCP self-control system.
• Handle simple customer requests at the counter and forward questions requiring specialized advice to the Professional, contributing to the maintenance of service quality, especially during peak periods.
• Perform, under supervision, the tasks of cutting and preparing trays of fresh meats and charcuterie products, following the defined techniques and standards, in order to guarantee that the products reach the counter with the established levels of quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Receive fresh meats and processed meat products, verifying quantities, temperatures, and expiration dates, and store the products in the cold rooms according to the storage conditions appropriate for each reference, guaranteeing the maintenance of the cold chain and the minimization of shrinkage and waste.
• Replenish the counter, the display case, and the shelves throughout the shift, respecting the defined product layout and the FIFO principle (first in, first out), in order to guarantee the availability of the assortment and an attractive and organized presentation until the store closes.
• Regularly check the temperatures of the cold rooms and the expiration or consumption dates of the products, immediately removing non-compliant items and communicating any occurrence to the person in charge, in order to prevent their sale and reduce department shrinkage.
