Groups and Events Coordinator - Monte Real Hotel, Termas & Spa

Responsible for monitoring and coordinating Groups and Events from the preparation and sending of the proposal, through to assisting them from the moment of check-in until check-out, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

• Negotiate and propose tailor-made events for Clients;
• Know how to propose various accommodation and service options within the DHM group - Cross-selling;
• Know how to propose dynamic and innovative suggestions and alternatives;
• Ensure maximum customer satisfaction;
• Know how to listen to the customer;
• Know how to communicate assertively with the customer;
• Monitor the entire process from the first contact until the end of the event;
• Strategically and in detail plan the group's event/stay;
• Organize the event by priorities;
• Accompany Groups during their stay;
• Help solve problems and manage complaints;
• Control event expenses and close invoices;
• Act assertively, proactively, and quickly in urgent situations;
• Share information about tourist attractions in the region as well as promote the Hotel's services/experiences.
• Lead and control the tasks of the various hotel teams involved in the group's event/stay;
• Promote excellent communication with all other hotel departments
• Ensure compliance with all event/group planning within the due deadlines and details;
• Request feedback from the customer at the end of the event;
• Detail what went best and worst during the event regarding the services provided, with the customer, and with the hotel teams;
• Must support other departments whenever necessary.
