Requirements
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Orthoptics and professional license, or equivalent in Portugal (Requirement: mandatory);
Residency authorization in Portugal, in the case of foreign candidates (Requirement: mandatory);
Nice to have
Minimum experience of 1/2 years in similar roles (Requirement: preferred);
Availability for schedule/shifts (Requirement: preferred).

The role
Together we want to do more and care better. We are recruiting an Orthoptics Technician (m/f), to join the Ophthalmology service under a Service Provision regime, at Hospital CUF Açores.
What you'll do
Identifies, quantifies, and qualifies binocular vision anomalies;
Performing examinations that study the integrity of the visual system from an anatomo-physiological and neurophysiological point of view (e.g., Optical Coherence Tomography - OCT; Corneal Topography; optical biometry, retinography; etc.);
Defines and executes therapeutic programs with a view to visual re-education and rehabilitation;
Provides support to the doctor during consultations.
