What we're looking for

Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in IT, with proven experience in Data Architecture and Solution Architecture.
Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
Proven experience in the design and definition of end-to-end data architectures.
Advanced knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse.
Experience in Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
Experience in data integration architectures, including ETL/ELT, batch processing, streaming, CDC, and APIs.
Solid knowledge of Data Governance, Data Security, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Metadata Management, Data Catalogs, and Master Data Management.
Experience in defining scalable, resilient, secure, and efficient architectures.
Knowledge and application of Enterprise Architecture principles.
Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector.

Nice to have

Knowledge of technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift will be valued.
Experience in strategic projects and knowledge of Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence will be valued.
Knowledge of data architectures for Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI will be valued.
Knowledge of Portuguese and Spanish will be valued.

Languages

DATA ARCHITECT
What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of complex data architectures, ensuring alignment between business needs and technological solutions. This professional will have a strategic role in defining end-to-end architectures, technological standards, data governance, and architectural decisions, contributing to the construction of scalable, resilient data platforms prepared to support analytical initiatives, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.

What you will do on a day-to-day basis

What you'll do

Analyze, clarify, and challenge business, functional, and non-functional requirements, identifying risks, dependencies, and architectural constraints.
Design end-to-end data architectures, defining components, data flows, ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption mechanisms.
Define relational and non-relational data models, including dimensional, document, graph, geographic, and time-series approaches.
Design data integration solutions with ETL/ELT, batch, streaming, Change Data Capture (CDC), APIs, and event-driven architectures.
Evaluate technological alternatives, analyze trade-offs, and document architectural decisions.
Define and evolve reference architectures, blueprints, and data architecture standards.
Design architectures for Data Lakes, Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and analytical platforms in Cloud environments.
Ensure the application of Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Metadata Management, Master Data Management practices, and GDPR compliance.
Ensure that solutions meet requirements for scalability, availability, security, observability, data recovery, and cost optimization.
Define metrics and indicators for data and pipeline observability, monitoring quality, availability, and performance.
Perform architectural governance, validate technical solutions, and guide multidisciplinary teams in technical decisions.
Produce architectural documentation and present recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
