The role
our client is a multinational company in the automotive sector looking to strengthen its team with an SMT engineering manager.
this role combines technical leadership, people management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, ensuring the robustness of manufacturing processes, high product quality, equipment reliability, and compliance with customer and automotive industry requirements.
What you'll do
key responsibilities
this professional will have the following main responsibilities:
- team leadership: managing the SMT Engineering team, defining objectives and resources, and promoting continuous improvement;
- test engineering: supervising ICT programs, NI TestStand, and Flash programming, supporting new product introduction (NPI);
- SMT programming: optimizing Siemens Siplace Pro assembly processes, libraries, and component setups;
- inspection and manufacturing: managing X-ray, depaneling, and conformal coating equipment;
- SQL and cybersecurity: managing SQL databases (MES integration) and ensuring industrial cybersecurity;
- quality and continuous improvement: leading Lean projects, optimizing yield, reducing costs, and supporting audits.
