WHO ARE YOU
Look around you: it is possible that you might find an IKEA product. Our logistics team is responsible for the entire process of moving IKEA products: from when they arrive at our warehouse, until they reach our customers' homes. Have we piqued your curiosity? Good! Let's continue.
At IKEA, we believe that everyone has talent. Therefore, we expect our candidates to have:
- Interest in learning more about retail operations, inventory management, and logistics systems;
- Common sense for making decisions, based on a clear analysis of available information;
- Aptitude to work at a tactical and operational level, as well as to put things into practice and optimize processes;
- A liking for working in a team and establishing relationships based on trust, through clear and objective communication;
- Motivation to deal with customers and to guarantee them the best possible shopping experience;
- Entrepreneurial spirit to seek new ways of doing things that add value to the team and the business, within the context of omnichannel operations.
A DAY IN YOUR LIFE AT IKEA
The Logistics department plays a very important role in ensuring a good experience for our customers. We are organized into three areas, with different responsibilities:
- Replenishment - We ensure product availability for our customers, in partnership with teams from other areas, anticipating stock needs according to sales forecasts and the commercial calendar;
- Picking - We collect, pack, and deliver orders directly to our customer in store, or prepare the shipment through the transport service;
- Loading and Unloading - We receive products and perform replenishment in the respective sales areas, handling pallet jacks and/or forklifts.
TOGETHER AS A TEAM
Inspired by our Swedish roots and humanist vision, at IKEA we have a unique culture. We believe that all people have value, regardless of any dimension of their identity - diversity is an asset to our business.
We value a spirit of togetherness and informality. Therefore, it is very likely that you will feel at home here!
We truly want to create a better everyday life for our customers. And for our co-workers.
Thus, these are some of the benefits we offer:
- Co-worker Restaurant: a space dedicated to co-workers, with diverse and healthy options, for a complete meal at an affordable price (mouth-watering!)
- Schedules communicated in advance so that it is easier to balance work with your personal life (studies, hobbies, other jobs, or even doing nothing...)
- Social and psychological support through the CÖNTIGO program;
- Annual bonus to celebrate the collective effort to grow the business
- Discounts and benefits through partnerships: gyms, technology, cosmetics, hotels, travel, etc.;
- Continuous training opportunities online, in-person, and on the job to explore your potential.
Working at IKEA is much more than just having a job.
