Requirements
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in corporate software development with Python;
- Solid experience with relational databases, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL;
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools;
- Strong analytical capacity and experience in debugging complex distributed systems;
- Higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
- English for conversation - mandatory;
- Spanish for conversation - mandatory;
- Availability for future relocation to Portugal or Spain.
Nice to have
- Experience with Java / Spring Boot and microservices;
- Knowledge of the financial market, especially in Trading, Risk Management, or Regulatory Reporting;
- Knowledge of FRTB, IMA, or Market Risk;
- Experience with integration technologies such as TIBCO, MQ, or Kafka;
- Experience with workload automation using Control-M or Autosys;
- Cloud knowledge: GCP, AWS, or Azure;
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes;
- Scripting knowledge with PowerShell or Bash.
The role
We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join an international project, working on software development in high-complexity corporate environments.
The position will involve strong involvement with Python, relational databases, CI/CD, and distributed systems, including investigating and resolving complex problems.
